New Business
2014 Budgets: Committees need to submit their budget requests to Stewardship & Finance soon.
Usher Duties: Clerk Reynolds covered usher duties as the final section of the AFC Guidebook to be updated. Several changes were made, including recording attendance during the offering and counting those in the nursery and Children’s Church, removing the need for an annual report, and working with Ministry & Oversight and the pastor to follow up with repeat visitors.
Thank You: The Meeting publicly thanked Debbie Hahn for her efforts in coordinating the menus, set up, and clean up for monthly carry ins, quarterly meetings, and other events.
Representative Council: Alan Hunt reported on IYM Representative Council. This is Rowena Holliday’s last week as secretary for IYM after 22 years of service. IYM Superintendent Doug Shoemaker requested a sabbatical for August through October 2014. There was also a Faith and Practice Review Committee meeting. Proposed changes will be sent to each Monthly Meeting.
New Members: M&O recommended Victor Martinez and Michelle Boulette as new members. They were approved for membership.
The December meeting was cancelled. The next meeting will be January 18 following a carry in.
