Thanks to all who participated in the Free Meal Ministry in February. More than 175 meals were served or delivered, and several bulk containers of food were also sent to area families. All 300 pounds of potatoes that were donated were distributed along with personal hygiene, paper, and cleaning products.
The next Free Meal Ministry will be on Palm Sunday, March 24. (Note the weekend change to prevent conflicts with Easter celebrations.) The menu will include spaghetti and sauce, bread, tossed salad, homegrown corn, fruit, and cake.
Items needed for the March meal include fresh fruit, canned vegetables and fruit, personal hygiene items, and cleaning and paper products. Let us know how you want to be involved with this ministry!
